many adults destroy children’s creativity.

It’s been awhile. I have been delivering and driving for Uber. I’m do this to make money. I will have more about driving and food delivery in a later post.

Alright now let’s get back to sound, video and other art and creative endeavors. I have always been creative but what child isn’t? Many adults work to destroy a child’s creativity. So of those adults do it maliciously because they think creative endeavors are a waste of time. Other adults encourage a child’s creativity up to a certain point in their lives but then tell them at some point it’s time to get serious and do something that will make money. There are also adults who get out of the way and let kids explore their creativity in whatever way they want. Some of those adults don’t know how to guide that child into a way which will help the child along their journey. A journey which may lead to being able to make a living out of creative  pursuits. Adults have no problem helping those young people who are good at sports find a way to excel and open many doors for the athlete to make it to a level of professional sports. Even if the child athlete doesn’t make it to the pros that child may benefit from getting a scholarship to university and make connections along that journey to succeed in life. But these things don’t always happen for creative young people.

I’m not going to go into all the ways this can happen or not.

My journey to adult creative stuff was a meandering path. I was and still am a day dreamer. I get distracted easily when it comes to doing other things. What are those other things? It could be anything I’m doing and then another thing with pop into my mind and off I go on that. These things are a map to various unconnected things which lead to several projects. Blah blah.

I loved animation. Speed racer and the stop motion Holliday animation shows about rudolf were things I looked forward to. I also liked illustrations in books. I never made the connection that someone made these things as a job.
